It helped me sift through much of what has been put forth by various news outlets but which never quite rang true. I would strongly recommend this to anyone, whether or not you believe yourself to have a clear understanding of Islam.

This is an insider analysis of the phenomenon of Radical Islam by an ex-Islamic radical and an associate of the Dr. Ayman Al-Zawaherri (currently the first in command of Al-Qaeda). The book describes Dr. Hamid’s journey against Islamic Radicalism since 1982. In Inside Jihad, Dr. Hamid analyses the problem in an objective manner and suggest strategic solutions to solve it.
